Service Collections

Group services together for an easier booking experience

In Swift, the core service categories are Rentals, Lessons, Classes, Camps, Memberships, and Packages. You can customize the name of each service category to match the terminology your facility uses on your booking page.

Service Collections give you even more flexibility by allowing you to organize and group individual services within each service category. This can make it easier for customers to browse and find what they’re looking for, especially as your list of services grows.

For example, you can group related classes together into a collection, or organize different rental options based on the type of space or equipment being offered.

You can view and manage your Service Collections by navigating to Services > Collections in the Swift Admin Dashboard.

What are Collections

A Collection is a group of related services within the same service category.

For example, if you offer several different rental options for members, you could create a Member Rentals Collection and add those individual rental services to it. Customers can then find those related services together rather than having to search through your entire list of rentals.

Each Collection shows:

  • Name – what the group is called

  • Category – which core service type it belongs to

  • Services – the individual services included in the group

Good to know: A Collection can only contain services from one category. For example, you can create a Collection for Classes, but you can't combine Classes and Rentals in the same Collection.

When to Use Collections

Collections are especially useful if you offer a lot of similar services and want to make them easier to find. A few examples:

  • Rentals – Group all rental options reserved for members into a "Members Only Rentals" collection.

  • Classes – If your facility offers classes across multiple sports, you could create separate Collections such as: Soccer Classes, Volleyball Classes, Basketball Classes. This gives customers a more organized way to browse the classes that interest them.

  • Camps – Some facilities use the Camp category for Tryout Registrations. You can create a collection specifically for "Tryouts" to help differentiate from your regular camp programs.

Get Suggestions for Service Collections

If you're not sure how to organize your existing services, Swift can help!

From Services > Collections, click Get suggestions. Swift will review your existing services and recommend Collections based on how your services are currently set up. You can review the suggested Collections and click Accept & Create All to create them.

This is a quick way to organize a large number of services without having to build each Collection manually.

Create a Collection

To create a new Collection:

  1. In your Swift Admin account, navigate to Services > Collections

  2. Click the + New collection button in the top right corner

  3. Give your Collection a clear, customer-facing Name

  4. Choose the Category it belongs to (Rentals, Lessons, Classes, Camps, Memberships, or Packages)

  5. Optional - Add an optional Media image for the Service Collection. We recommend an image with a Square ratio.

  6. Select the individual Services you'd like to include in this Collection.

  7. Save your Collection.

Please note: Adding a service to a Collection doesn't change its pricing, availability, or booking rules — it's purely a way to organize how services are grouped and displayed.

Managing your Collections

Once you've created a Collection, you can manage it directly from Services > Collections.

Search for a Collection

Use the Search bar to quickly find a Collection by name.

Share a Collection with customers

Click the link icon beside a Collection to copy its shareable link.

You can send this link directly to customers, include it in communications, or use it anywhere you'd like to direct customers to a specific group of services.

Edit or delete a Collection

Click the ••• menu beside a Collection to access additional options, including editing or deleting the Collection.

Note: Deleting a Collection does not delete the individual services that were included in it. It only removes the collection/grouping.

FAQs

Can a service belong to more than one Collection?

No, a Collection needs at least one service added to it before it will show up to customers.

Can I rename a Collection later?
Yes, open the Collection and update the name at any time using the ••• menu.
