The Repeats tool gives you more flexibility when creating recurring bookings in Swift. Instead of creating each booking individually, you can set up a series of bookings that repeat according to a schedule you define.
This is especially useful when a customer regularly books the same facility or service, such as:
Weekly cage rentals
Recurring court bookings
Training sessions
Class sessions held on different days of the week
Bookings with multiple time slots on the same day
Recurring bookings that follow a custom schedule
You can choose how often the booking repeats, which days it occurs on, multiple time slots for each day, and when the recurring series should end.
How to create recurring bookings
In your Swift Admin account, go to the Calendar page
Click on the + New Booking button in the bottom right of screen
Select the Service Type and Service
Input the date and time for the first booking in the recurring series
For Repeats, select Yes.
Choose a Frequency:
Daily
Weekly on [day]
Custom
Choose when the recurring series should end.
Complete the remaining booking details, such as the Rooms, Equipments or Booking Notes
Click Create booking & proceed to continue creating the booking.
Choosing a Frequency
Swift provides three frequency options depending on how simple or flexible your recurring schedule needs to be.
Daily
Use Daily when the booking should repeat every day.
For example, you could create a one-hour cage rental that repeats daily from September 23 through September 30.
You can specify an End date to determine how long the series should continue.
Weekly
Use Weekly on [day] when the booking should repeat on the same day each week.
For example, if the initial booking is on a Wednesday, Swift will display Weekly on Wednesday as an option. This is useful for bookings that occur at the same time every week.
Custom
Use Custom when your schedule doesn't follow a simple daily or weekly pattern. The Custom option allows you to:
Repeat every specific number of days or weeks.
Multiple days of the week.
Add different time slots for different days.
Add multiple time slots on the same day.
End the series after a specific date or number of occurrences.
For example, you could create a recurring Class that has sessions which occur every Monday (5:00pm to 7:00pm), Wednesday (8:00pm to 9:00pm), and Saturday (10:00am to 11:00am), with different times on each day.
Editing Individual Sessions in a Recurring Series
