When new customers sign up for an account at your facility, you get to decide exactly what information they need to share. This guide walks you through how registration fields work and how to configure them to fit your needs.
Overview
The Registration page lets you control which pieces of information are required, optional, or hidden during account creation. This helps you strike the right balance — collecting the details you actually need, without asking customers for more than necessary.
Fields are organized into three sections:
Personal Information — Name, Gender, Date of Birth
Contact Information — Address, Phone Number
Additional Information — any custom fields you create
Field Settings Explained
Each field can be set to one of the following:
Setting | What it means |
Required | Customers must fill this in before they can complete registration. |
Optional | Customers can choose whether or not to provide this information. |
Hidden | The field won't appear on the registration form at all. |
To change a setting, simply toggle the switch next to the field. You can also use the eye icon to preview how a field appears (or doesn't appear) to customers.
Adding Custom Fields
Need to collect something beyond the standard fields? Use Add Custom Field under Additional Information to create your own. Custom fields can be set as required or optional, just like the default ones, and can be reordered using the up/down arrows.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind
Changes apply going forward. If you switch a field from optional to required, existing customers will be prompted to provide that information the next time they make a booking. It won't retroactively affect their current profile.
Admin visibility isn't affected by these settings. Whether a default field is required or optional, it will always be visible on the customer's profile in the Admin view. These settings only control what customers see and must fill out during sign-up — not what your staff can see afterward.
Staff-created accounts work a little differently. When a staff member creates a customer account from the Admin side, these required/optional rules don't apply. This is because staff may not always have every piece of customer information on hand at the time of account creation.
